Hello, I am Gianna Curless
I am a freelance photographer, dancer, choreographer, dance educator, and model in Chicago, IL. Growing up I spent a lifetime moving around the U.S. and living internationally as my family served in ministries dedicated to helping children achieve academic and artistic excellence. With a true artist's heart, I enjoy pursuing anything creative and helping others find their freedom of expression. I have been dancing since I could walk and have trained in a multitude of dance styles. As a young teen, I found my love for photography when I bought my first camera "just for fun." I started taking pictures and couldn't stop trying to find new perspectives. I have experienced the struggle of receiving photos from a dance shoot or dance performance that are less than pleasing with the angle, crop, or timing of the picture. I was excited when I discovered I could meld my two passions together by becoming a dance photographer. My niche is dance photography but I also enjoy capturing moments of family, friends, and events.
